How you help

Our volunteers are critical to the success of our programs and our ability to empower so many individuals in the community. Nearly 70% of the individuals completing IKRON’s employment services program were placed in jobs this past year. Over 60% of these individuals continue to work in the community. Over 1,200 youths and adults with problems of severe mental illness and/or substance abuse were referred to IKRON in FY 2017.

About us

IKRON (Integration of Knowledge and Resources for Occupational Needs) provides integrated quality behavioral health services to the greater Cincinnati and Tri-State area. IKRON was the first community facility to work collaboratively with the Bureau of Vocation Rehabilitation counselors to help prepare Longview State Hospital (Summit Behavioral Health) patients for discharge from the hospital to the community and to eventual competitive employment in the community.
