Our mission	With big city amenities and small town charm, Hamilton continues to retain the character of the city’s past while sharpening its focus on a bright, happy future. Volunteering helps residents take pride in their city and creates a better community for everyone.

Opportunities	HamiltonCARES HamiltonCARES is a program that helps those in need, including the elderly and disabled, by helping maintain their property. Volunteers assist by mowing, trimming shrubs and doing other general clean up around the recipient’s home. Occasional Teens, Adults Individuals, Groups (2-10), Corporate Teams Physical, Outdoor None Weekends General Volunteer There are many amazing volunteer opportunities in Hamilton including working in various city departments, the welcome center, or assisting with special events. Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor, Outdoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Adopt a Park and Adopt a Roadway The Adopt a Park program is where a company, group of individuals, or other organizations agree to clean up a park six or more times a year. Groups who adopt a park will get signage placed at the park that they have adopted and will have access to safety vests, trash bags, and gloves. Occasional Teens, Adults Groups (2-10), Corporate Teams, Families Physical, Outdoor On-site Weekends

How you help	The City of Hamilton Volunteer Program has been in existence for four years. Hundreds of individuals volunteer with the City of Hamilton every year. Volunteering helps residents take pride in their city and creates a better community for everyone.
