How you help | By creating opportunities for our kids you are giving them more chances to be successful and creative! Mentors provide a child with a supportive relationship they can look to for advice and encouragement during one of the toughest times of their life. Or by volunteering and shouldering some of our staff’s responsibilities, you allow them to spend more time with a child in their time of need. |

About us | We offer outpatient therapy and counseling, residential treatment, foster care, adoption, and training services to children, families and residents of Northern Kentucky. Starting out as an orphanage in 1848, DCCH has been helping children and families for over 160 years. At DCCH, we provide children who have been removed from their homes due to extreme physical, sexual, and emotional abuse and neglect with a safe place to sleep, healthy meals, appropriate clothing and shoes, specialized education, and intensive behavioral therapy to move them out of pain and suffering to a place where they find a strong sense of security, peace, and hope. |
