Our mission

NAMI Urban Greater Cincinnati is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with mental illness and behavioral disorder in our urban community. We accomplish this through advocacy, education, and support programs.

How you help

All of our services are provided by volunteers. Volunteers will either provide services in prevention such as leading family-to-family classes or support groups. Another thing that volunteers can be involved in are advocacy for people living with mental illness.
About us

NAMI Urban Greater Cincinnati is a grassroots nonprofit whose volunteers are family members of individuals living with mental illness. NAMI UGCNoMI improves the quality of life and ensures dignity and respect for persons with serious mental illness and offers support to their families and close friends. We provide support, encouragement, information, education and advocacy throughout the urban community through outreach and networking helping to reduce stigma.
