Circle Tail Postpones Biggest Fundraiser
The COVID-19 pandemic is taking a toll on practically every aspect of life across the globe. Our hearts go out to everyone who is being affected, from the people who are ill to the people who are taking care of them to all of the people who have lost income during this time. Our hearts go out to the families who have lost loved ones. Their pain and loss are almost too much to imagine.
It has hit us hard as well. Our largest fundraiser, our 10th Annual Dinner, Art, & Wine for Canines, had to be postponed. This fundraiser accounts for 18% of our annual budget. This means we are quickly running out of funds. Therefore, we hope our community will help us with a grassroots effort to keep the lights on and keep the puppies fed.
During the event, guests were to hear stories from our inmate dog handlers, who share their own stories of life transformations thanks to this rehabilitative program. Likewise, we are in the process of building a new training/kennel facility to better meet the needs of our dogs, our staff, and our volunteers. This is an endeavor to ensure Circle Tail’s future. We had a big fundraising effort planned for our 375 guests at our Dinner Art & Wine for Canines event, so hope to keep the momentum going through online appeals.
Our dogs and our teams need us now as always. We love and appreciate our supporters, and hope everyone stays safe during this difficult time.
