Help cut down honeysuckle, remove debris, and plant prairie grass seeds, milkweed seedlings, and nectar plants.
Who can do it
Volunteers of all ages are welcome to join us as we create Monarch Waystations and a local Bee Sanctuary. Start the day with a brief lesson about the role pollinators play in our agriculture and environment. We will then be going to multiple areas around our 122-acre non-profit farm to create specific habitats for pollinators. Work side by side with passionate volunteers to cut down honeysuckle with loppers, remove debris, and plant prairie grass seeds, milkweed seedlings and nectar plants.

My boys loved summer camp at Gorman last year. My oldest (9) was really looking forward to doing your Veterinary camp this year. But it doesn’t appear that there are any camps for younger kids that week. If that’s correct then I wouldn’t have a spot for my younger child (5) that same week.
