Friends, our online marketplace is one way we are trying to stay "open". So many want to volunteer but our doors remain closed - so please shop and help us help others. We are working on a plan to open engaging a limited number of volunteers. Stay tuned

A Child's Hope Int'l
As COVID-19 continues to spread to our partners across the globe, the importance of access to clean water is staring us in the face.
.
Today we GIVE THANKS that amidst the chaos and uncertainty of our world, a generous donor has invested $1,000 for the construction of a hand-pump bore well in Kakinada, India💦
.
This is the 10th well ACHI has constructed in this community since November 2019. Thank you for giving ❤️ If youd like to sponsor a clean water project, send us a message or simply visit https://thechildrenarewaiting.givecloud.co/freshwaterwells

📣🌍IMPORTANT UPDATE🌍📣
Hope Factory™ volunteer events have ceased, production events cancelled, and like you, our plans for the next several weeks are on hold. Yet, children are in need now more than ever. ACHI has responded by supplying our Hands Against Hunger® high protein food and Promise Water® to children and families in our area who lost access to both for no fault of their own.
👇
We cannot singlehandedly overcome the hardships this global pandemic has created for people – and ultimately, its all about people. It’s not about buildings, programs or business plans. It’s about people. People who need help and are on the fringe of life. We are committed to doing whatever we can and as fast as we can keeping HOPE alive.
❤️
With your help, we can refuse to let a virus stop a mission – a lifesaving mission to orphans and vulnerable children around the globe. Imagine the difference we can make together as we trust God to supply the resources and the volunteers needed.

Please continue to pray for our partners around the world that are dealing with COVID-19 ❤️

Please continue to pray for our partners around the world that are dealing with COVID-19 ❤️With all eyes on Coronavirus worldwide, we see the need to share an update about what’s happening in Eswatini. On Friday, March 13th, the Swazi government announced the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in the nation. Within a few days, multiple private schools started closing. This Tuesday, the government declared a national emergency which has closed all schools in the nation.

The leaders in our ministry here in Eswatini have been planning a response for the potential of a large-scale outbreak. We are implementing the following steps to protect our staff and CarePoint caregivers:

1. We are closing our CarePoints until they are safe to reopen. This will help prevent large crowds from forming which should help keep children from receiving and spreading the virus to their families.

2. We have provided emergency food and soap for the neediest families in our communities so they can be able to manage without the CarePoint meals.

3. We are discouraging all non-essential staff movement and gatherings have been cancelled for at least the next four weeks.

4. A risk management team has been formed to keep up with the updates from the Eswatini Ministry of Health, World Health Organization, and CDC recommendations. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and make any necessary changes.

Again, all of this is to protect our wonderful caregivers who serve daily at our CarePoints and their families. These women are in the most-at-risk group for complications as many of them are older in age. Please keep them in your prayers as they are vital to our ability to serve all of the children in their communities.
