UPDATE: Coronavirus affects Interact for Health funding, Learning Center

Apr 29, 2020

Like other organizations in Greater Cincinnati, Interact for Health’s operations have been disrupted by the novel coronavirus outbreak. Though our offices are closed, our associates continue to work remotely and have taken steps to address issues arising from the spread of COVID-19.

Grantmaking

We have assessed our previously planned funding in light of the pandemic and have decided to suspend some grantmaking. We have closed the Tobacco 21 Ohio Education Campaign and Tobacco Policy Change requests for proposals. We look forward to reopening these RFPs when it is appropriate to do so.

Funding requests for Opioid Harm Reduction and Access to Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder are being reviewed.

Conference and Learning Center

Interact for Health’s conference center is closed. In addition, three Learning Center classes originally scheduled for April and May have been canceled. Registrants for Grant Management (April 14, May 6) and Introduction to Fundraising (April 28) will be contacted by Interact for Health staff and offered a refund or registration for the rescheduled date. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact Conference Center and Education Manager Maurice Stewart at [email protected] with questions.

Applications have been reviewed and the winners will be notified.

As the COVID-19 situation evolves we will send further updates about other cancellations and adjustments to our work. Thank you for your interest in Interact for Health and for your patience in these extraordinary times.
