Opportunities

Early Childhood Learning Center

Volunteers assist with reading and playing games with the special needs children (6 weeks to 5th grade), helping with art activities, and helping during gym and outdoor activities during the listed morning and afternoon hours.

Pediatric Therapy Volunteer

Assist with office duties, preparing learning aids, toy and equipment preparation, making games, organizing cabinets and materials.

How you help

Abilities First serves close to 500 children with special needs each year and volunteers help us provide daily services and activities. Our Pediatric Therapies provides speech, occupational, and physical therapy in a variety of settings and volunteers in support services are a vital part of our operations.
