Ways to help youth thrive

Class Adopter

When you and your team adopt a class, you change the outcomes for a whole classroom of children. By pairing teams with individual classrooms, our adult mentors expose the students to a breadth of experiences and training to help them be prepared for jobs and careers. For the organization, this engagement fosters a culture of teamwork and increased knowledge of our community’s needs and the challenges faced by our youth. AAC curates age-appropriate, grade level specific, and themed activities on our website, available in our Resource Center, so you will always have ideas for what to do with your students.

Adopt A Class mentors, called adopters, engage with their adopted classes through monthly visits, educational activities, pen-palling and field trips, empowering them to unleash their full potential. Currently, more than 150 business and community groups are serving over 6,000 students in Greater Cincinnati.
