Be a Big Sister

Doing good is a beautiful thing. As a Big Sister, you can give a girl an opportunity to see beyond her everyday world and dream big. It’s good for your Little as well as your community.

Ways to help youth thrive

Community-Based Big Brother or Big Sister

For just a few hours, a couple times a month you can give a Little Brother or Sister the invaluable gift of your friendship. By simply changing his or her perspective of what the world can offer, you can literally start changing his or her life. Play a board game. Make fun crafts. Hit the playground together. Just as your options are unlimited, so is your Little's potential. When you're a Community-Based Big Brother or Big Sister, you get to pick up your Little from his or her home for fun activities in the community. You get to plan the outing and activities you take your Little on and will communicate your plans with their family. BBBSGC offers planned monthly group activities too!

Site-Based Big Brother or Big Sister

When you are a Site-Based Big Brother or Big Sister, you experience a supervised visitation with your Little at his/her school or Boys and Girls Club in which we have a partnership. No outside activity is permitted. We offer Lunch Buddies, School Day options or After School, depending upon the site.
