| About us | Blue Manatee Literacy Project is focused on providing literacy resources, innovative support programming and experiences to disadvantaged young readers in Greater Cincinnati, to ensure a confident and successful journey to literacy, focusing primarily on pre-K through 3rd grade. We believe in equality in education and work to provide teachers, parents and program partners the tools they need to complete each child’s path to proficiency. Our focus is bringing books and literacy programs to disadvantaged communities and giving students the same opportunities their peers enjoy. Founded in January 2019 by Amanda Kranias and Kevin Kushman (Board President), BMLP has donated over 36,000 books to students in the Greater Cincinnati area. The Blue Manatee Bookstore is a non-profit bookstore housed within the BMLP organization. For every book purchased through the bookstore, BMLP donates a new, age and content-appropriate book to a student in need. In addition |
