Our mission	We salvage reusable building materials destined for the landfill and resell them to the public.

Opportunities	Mentor Share your knowledge of construction and guide program participants in learning new skills and serve as a role model and mentor. Occasional, Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Physical, Indoor, Outdoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Retail Help Volunteers can assist in checking out customers, answering phones, scheduling deliveries, stocking shelves, setting up displays, unloading donations, sorting materials, and pricing donated materials. Occasional, Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Physical, Indoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Department Specialists Volunteers can spread their knowledge and expertise of antiques, doors, electrical equipment and materials, hardware, lumber, plumbing, or yard maintenance. How you help	Volunteers provide essential time, skills, and expertise to assist individuals in our job training program receive experience and mentorship in addition to helping staff our retail location serving the community at discounted prices.

About us	Building Value is an Easterseals social enterprise that salvages reusable materials for sale to the public. We are sustainability: Our efforts help the environment, reduce the cost of disposal, invest in the local workforce, and give architectural gems a second life. Proceeds support Building Value, Building Ability operations and our parent Easterseals and the process of sustainable building and sustainble employment begins again.
