About usCatholics United for the Poor (CUP) is a coalition of Catholic organizations, with a history of direct services to the poor. CUP is committed: to educate the public regarding the plight of the poor, to raise funds for and awareness of member agencies, and to facilitate mutuality and collaboration among member agencies. The agencies CUP works with include Tender Mercies, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Over-the-Rhine Kitchen, Walnut Hills Kitchen, Walnut Hills Pantry, Our Daily Bread, Mercy Franciscan At St. John, VISIONS Community Services, Mary Magdalen House, and Bethany House Services. Since 1984, CUP has been working to raise awareness and funds for its member agencies to help alleviate poverty in the Cincinnati area.
