Land Steward

Land Stewards meets on Wednesday and alternate Saturday mornings (weather-permitting) to work off-trail removing invasive plants such as honeysuckle.

Native Plant Propagation Program Volunteer

Help collect native wildflower seed for the Center for Conservation’s Native Plant Propagation program. Work with staff in harvesting and processing seed from CNC’s forest and fields as a group, in pairs, or individually. Seed collection work occurs primary from September through November.

How you helpEach year, our dedicated volunteers give thousands of hours of their time to teach visitors about nature, preserve and restore the land, and assist with events and office duties.
About usOur award-winning trails, in two locations, wind through the region’s natural habitats of Eastern deciduous forest, fields, streams and ponds. Rowe Woods, located in Milford, Ohio, spans 1,020 acres and offers more than 16 miles of hiking trails.
