Co-op Cincy (formerly Cincinnati Union Co-op Initiative) creates an economy that works for everyone — that supports family-sustaining jobs, provides business ownership opportunities for underserved and marginalized people, and is accountable to the communities that drive it.

Co-op Cincy Volunteer Opportunity

Help with business mentorship for our existing co-ops and co-op entrepreneurs, fundraising support and mentorship (ie. how to develop major donor programs, events, annual giving campaigns, grant writing), database maintenance, outreach support to specific communities and constituency groups and more!

Co-op Cincy works to create an economy that works for all by: Popular Education & Culture-Building: Developing curricula, training, and events to teach workers about running a community-minded business. Business Analysis & Planning: Guiding established businesses and start-ups through the process of creating a union co-op, from concept to launch. Networking & Sourcing: Attracting and securing people and money to launch and grow union co-ops. Supporting the 1worker1vote.org national union cooperative network.
