Our mission

To empower, educate, and inspire individuals and communities through professional training and partnership of highly-skilled service oriented dogs.

Opportunities

Foster Families

Circle Tail dogs are trained on site at our campus, at the two Ohio correctional facilities we work with, and with foster families to reinforce the training they’ve learned and apply it to real world situations. Foster families play a vital role in our dogs’ success. Visit circletail.org to learn more.

About us

Established in 1997, Circle Tail is a multi-faceted non-profit organization providing high quality service and hearing dogs to people with disabilities. These dogs, the recipient training, and lifetime follow ups are provided at no charge to the individual. We provide facility dogs to schools, courthouses, and other agencies at a minimal charge, in-home service and hearing dogs to adults with disabilities, and adoption options for career changed service or hearing dogs. We strengthen the human-canine bond in the community by providing a variety of dog training classes, Pet First Aid/CPR classes, and educational programs for the general public.
