Work Readiness Mentoring - Volunteer as a One-on-One MentorThe Work Readiness Initiative of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce Foundation is a collaborative effort of business and community leaders who partner with educators to prepare students to be work-ready. Speed Mentoring is a fun and fast-paced event at which volunteers from the business community meet with small groups of students to talk about their work experiences and students' plans for the future.Law Enforcement Appreciation Planning CommitteeHelp plan and execute the annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet that recognizes local police and law enforcement officials for all their hard work throughout the year.Women in Leadership VolunteerThe Women in Leadership is the Chamber’s largest committee. The goal of the committee is to bring professional women together in a monthly meeting for networking and business education. The committee hosts an annual evening of networking dinner and scholarships for mature women continuing their education to further their career goals.Government Affairs CouncilSupport business at the local, state, and federal levels of government and to establish a strong collective voice for the business community through research and development of new initiatives.Marketing Roundtable CommitteeHelp plan and execute quarterly marketing roundtable events as well as other major events throughout the year. Provide support for other businesses in the community looking to expand their marketing efforts.Golf for Kids Outing VolunteersHelp plan and execute the Golf for Kids event for golfers who enjoy the sport and want to take advantage of the opportunity to network with key business people, civic leaders, and local officials.Engagement/Ambassador CommitteeHelp plan and execute membership growth plan consistent with Chamber major initiatives, to assist with membership retention and expansion.Pacesetter Awards DinnerPlans and executes the annual Pacesetter Awards Dinner that honors three outstanding community and business members each year. |

| About us | The Clermont Chamber is a voluntary association of businesses, professionals, and individuals working together to enhance the Clermont Community. Our goal is to make Clermont County a desirable place to live and work. The Chamber involves itself in such areas as the development planning process, where it can influence the timing and placement of infrastructure investment and land-use decisions. The Chamber also fosters legislation favorable to a positive business climate and acts as a liaison between government and business when conflicts arise. And it maintains a vital interest in government financing programs and policies, as well as tax law. |
