Our mission	To inspire learning and strengthen our community by removing barriers to education.

Opportunities	Administrative/Clerical Help Assist in the office with administrative and clerical help. Occasional 55+, Adults Individuals Office work On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Group Volunteering Bring a group and volunteer for a single day project. Occasional 55+, Adults Groups (2-10), Groups (10+), Corporate Teams Outdoor None Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Community Event Volunteer Help with community events such as picnics, fundraisers, etc. Occasional Adults Individuals Event support, Indoor, Outdoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Tutor We need tutors for a variety of disciplines such as English (English for speakers of other languages), basic writing and reading, basic mathematics, computer skills, and college coursework. Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends Mentor Mentor a College Bridge Fellow. Occasional, Weekly 55+, Adults Individuals Indoor On-site Weekdays, Evenings, Weekends

Without the dedication, passion, and commitment of our volunteers we would be unable to provide all of the necessary services & opportunities that we currently do for our neighbors. We are always in need of volunteers to help us live our mission.

About us	Education Matters provides positive adult education programs to the Cincinnati community. We offer programs for speakers of other languages to learn and improve their English, GED preparation, and the college bridge program. We envision a city where all people have the opportunity to access the power of education because we believe that individuals can realize their potential if they have access to opportunity.
