Ways to help youth thrive |
TutorWe believe that every individual should have the opportunity to pursue education. In a supportive place, every student can thrive and find their potential. Our programs exist to re-engage adults in learning through basic literacy, high school equivalency, college, and English for Speakers of Other Languages. Tutors work one-on-one with students based on their level and goals. Our instructors help to match tutors with students and create an education plan.Community Matters - Grandparents ProgramCommunity Grandparents exists to connect younger parents with older mentors to help parents meet life’s challenges. The goal of the program is to foster a new positive relationship with families while providing mentors with an opportunity to build meaningful and lasting relationships with our community. Grandparents are paired one-on-one with a mentee to form a positive relationship, build supports, and learn from each other. |

How you help | At Education Matters we love volunteers! Without the dedication, passion, and commitment of our volunteers we would be unable to provide all of the necessary services & opportunities that we currently do for our neighbors. We are always in need of volunteers to help us live our mission. |

About us | Education Matters provides positive adult education programs to the Cincinnati community. We offer programs for speakers of other languages to learn and improve their English, GED preparation, and the college bridge program. We envision a city where all people have the opportunity to access the power of education because we believe that individuals can realize their potential if they have access to opportunity. |
