Harness Club

Our mule and mini horse teams serve the Greater Cincinnati community by offering carriage rides for the elderly, disabled persons and underprivileged children as well as participate in many community events and parades. Come join the fun by caring for them at the Farm or helping at events and parades.

Farmyard Volunteer & Feeder

Care for our farm animals including sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, cows, some equine and our barncat. Assist with the general maintenance of our farmyard and the feeding and care of our sweet animals.

Volunteer Gardener

Help take care of our Front, Woodland and Rain Gardens from March until November. Enjoy the therapeutic quiet and work with your hands with other like-minded volunteers. We are always looking for garden volunteers and would appreciate the help anytime for our Market Garden, potato field, flower cutting garden and our many other gardens. (M-F 9am-5pm or Saturdays 9am-3pm)

Front Desk Volunteer

Our front desk volunteers are our "Directors of First Impressions"! We are looking for a volunteer to help run the front desk. We are currently looking for help on some shifts during the week and several Saturday mornings (e.g. 3rd Saturday of the month). Help greet visitors, answer phones, enroll new members, collect fees, and sell items from the gift shop. Join a great team of volunteers in a beautiful setting. Come join the fun! (2 shifts a day; 9am-1pm and 1-5pm)

Quilting Volunteers

As a non-profit organization, we work on a limited budget and have to be very concerned about our expenses. You can help us keep expenses down by purchasing needed equipment and supplies. Many needed items are on our Amazon Wish List! In-kind donations are tax deductible. We appreciate your support! The Farm also accepts:
  • Gift Cards to local stores for school and camp supplies

How you help Volunteers are vital at Gorman Heritage Farm. We need your help, and in return will provide you with ways to find personal fulfillment, creative outlets and the opportunity to serve your community, all in a fun, healthy environment. Anyone can volunteer at Gorman Heritage Farm because there is something here for everyone! Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult while volunteering.
About us Gorman Heritage Farm is a 122-acre working farm and outdoor education center, inviting visitors to explore and learn the history, methods, and values of a working family farm in a natural setting. We are located on Reading Road in Evendale, Ohio. The Farm is one-half mile south of Glendale-Milford Road.
