| Ways to help youth thrive |
Elementary MentorWe have a high need for mentors at Ethel Taylor Academy as well as Roll Hill Academy to help our 2nd-grade mentees! You will meet your mentee once a week for 30 minutes during lunch time. Activities will be provided for you and your mentee to work on during your time together. After lunch, you will walk your mentee back to the lunchroom to return their lunch trays. You will then complete a mentoring activity sheet describing what you and your mentee worked on for that day. There will be a point-person on site that you can report any concerns to.MentorBecome a great motivator for a student looking to become a future leader! Great mentoring opportunities exist at Western Hills HS for students in grades 7th through 12th. Students look for someone who will continue to encourage them to make the better choices as they embark upon their teenage years and prepare for the next stages of their lives. Meetings will consists of discussions about college, issues they may encounter at home or in the community, video games, or whatever you feel will help your student become successful.
