Wellness AmbassadorHospitality is essential. Greet, welcome, and assist members with tours of the Wellness Center; wipe down equipment as needed; check with members to ensure their needs are being met; update member communications such as signage.ChildcareOpportunities include Child Watch, YMCA Early Learning Centers, before and after school programming, field trip chaperones, and summer day camp.EventsVolunteer needs vary with each event, but typically involve volunteer and participant recruitment, registration, greeting, data entry and logistics, set up, and tear down.Youth Sports Coaches/OfficialsVolunteer Coaches are needed for youth sports such as soccer, basketball, and baseball. Coaches and Buddies are also needed for the Miracle League, a baseball league for children with special needs. Character development and good sportsmanship are emphasized in all YMCA instructional youth sports. |

Hamilton Central Y Club Teen ProgramLooking for volunteers to engage with teens in a positive/mentoring way after school for ages 13-16.Camp Campbell Gard Outdoor EducationYMCA Camp Campbell Gard is looking for volunteers to teach OE classes in April and May.Hamilton Central YMCA Summer Playground ProgramWe need volunteers for the summer playground program. Read and play with the children ages 5-12.East Butler County YMCA Child WatchInteract with the children, read stories, and assist in activities. Morning shifts Monday-ThursdayHamilton Central YMCA Child WatchWe are looking for volunteers to play and read with children ages 6 weeks to 9 years.Miracle League BuddyThe Miracle League is more than just playing a game. It is also about making friends, building self-esteem, and being treated just like everyone else. The Youth Miracle League uses a "Buddy" system - pairing each player with a peer or friend to assist them throughout the game. Each "Buddy" focuses on providing their teammate with an encouraging, safe environment in which their efforts produce success in each facet of the game. The result is a bond that forever connects them as teammates. The Miracle League is a wonderful way to give back to others.
