How you helpCommunity volunteers who answer the call to mentor a young person in county care become an advocate, provide a support structure, and develop critical relationships with some of our most marginalized youth. HEMI Mentors change lives! But mentoring isn't the right volunteer opportunity for everyone, so contact us about other ways to get involved and support this critical work.
About usHEMI recruits community volunteers to become mentors to local foster youth to provide them a long-term adult supporter. HEMI Mentors and staff work as a team to help these young people plan for life after graduation and emancipation, and become independent, self sufficient, and thriving young adults.
