About usWe are a 100% volunteer, non profit, animal rescue team. We accept animals from puppy mills, stray cats and dogs, animal abuse victims, and overflow from shelters, etc. There is never a lack of work, only a lack of volunteers. We are glad you would like to help us save the animals. We ask for no specific time commitment, only that you love our animals.

MEET CHICORY! This sweet momma came to us with her 2 small kittens. She was timid at first due to an injury on the right side of her neck. After it healed, she immediately came out of her shell and started being herself. CHICORY is a very affectionate, laid-back cat. While she isnt very playful, she still knows how to make people smile. Her babies were adopted & now its her turn to find a forever home. CHICORY will make a great companion! If you are interested in meeting this gorgeous gal, visit our website at www.rescueahart.org to fill out an adoption application.

And our starting pitcher is HOMER! HOMER already has some meet and greets set up, but how can you introduce a team without the boy on the mound?! HOMER is 9 lbs at 9 weeks and is the leader of his bothers when sneaking out of the puppy room. With his lab looks and border collie traits, herding at his humans heels, this little guy is definitely on a team of winners! If you are interested in meeting any of HOMERS teammates, visit our website at www.rescueahart.org to fill out an adoption application.

ROOKIE may be on the DL for the downtown team but this guy is the fastest little teammate on HARTS TEAM!! At 9 weeks and 10 lbs, all ROOKIE wants in life is his human fan! ROOKIE and his siblings are believed to be lab/border collie mixes. If you are interested in meeting this human Velcro boy, visit our website at www.rescueahart.org to fill out an adoption application.

Meet our center fielder, BILLY, of our Cincinnati Reds litter. BILLY is the smallest of our home team, weighing 7 lbs at 9 weeks old. Our best guess is lab/border collie mix. BILLY arrived in Cincinnati after being recruited, with his 4 brothers, from a Kentucky shelter. If you are interested in meeting this little base stealer, visit our website at www.rescueahart.org to fill out an adoption application.
