Ways to help youth thrive |
Direct Service Volunteer (Short Term)Direct Service short-term volunteers bring energy, expertise and enthusiasm to what they do and enhance Lighthouse services on many levels, just with a shorter time commitment! You work directly with our kids by assisting staff with activities, meals, and homework. You play games with the clients, and act as social supports by hanging out and chatting with the kids. You could also go on outreach and pass out resources to those youth living on the street. If you would like to teach our clients a special skill such as job interview prep, a craft, or something else, we absolutely welcome that as well. At Lighthouse Youth Servies, we take the volunteer’s interest and the youths’ interests and find the best fit.Direct Service Volunteer Long TermDirect Service volunteers bring energy, expertise and enthusiasm to what they do and enhance Lighthouse services on many levels.
