Sleeping bags and blankets

The beauty of the autumn is quickly giving way to winter’s long chill. Once again, the Parish Kitchen is in need of new sleeping bags and blankets for our guests. Seize this opportunity! Many of our brothers and sisters spend these long winter nights in unheated spaces or even sleeping outdoors. This winter, your simple gifts of new sleeping bags and blankets will not only warm their hearts and souls, but may even save their lives. Thanks for you warm support for those in need! Donations can be dropped off at either: Parish Kitchen, 1561 Madison Avenue (Corner of 16th & Madison) Covington, KY 41011 from 8 to 11 am Monday thru Friday or Catholic Charities, 3629 Church Street, Latonia, KY 41015 From 9 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday.

How you help Our mission is made possible because of volunteers who generously give their time, living out their faith through preparing and serving meals, greeting guest, providing home-made desserts, picking up and delivering donations and so much more. Our volunteers’ stewardship of time exemplifies people caring for people.
About us In 1974 in the urban heart of Covington, Kentucky, Parish Kitchen opened its door and began offering a lunch-time meal, without cost, to all who entered. The same is true today and every day of the year. 365 days a year, a nutritional, lunch-time meal continues to be served without cost, without question, without judgement.
