|Ways to help|
Home Improvement Saturdays
Come alone or organize a group to visit clients’ homes and help with tasks like yard work and simple home repairs. Help our clients tackle the “wish list” projects that continue to grow throughout the year. On every third Saturday.
Consisting of retired professionals with home improvement skills needed to complete quick-hit repairs on clients’ “wish lists”
Install handrails, repair drywall, fix leaky plumbing, repair damaged walkways & steps, and perform other home maintenaince.
|How you help||PWC’s dedicated corps of 6,000-plus volunteers is a tremendous asset to the organization’s ability to maintain a strong presence in the community and complete thousands of home repair jobs a year. The time and contributions of people like you help your low-income, elderly and disabled neighbors remain independent and safe in their homes.|
|About us||Individuals of all skill levels interested in giving back to the community are welcome – from master tradesmen to those wanting to learn a skill and even those who can only perform simple household tasks. In all cases, volunteers will be matched with projects based on their skill sets and levels of experience. We can create a volunteer experience for you or your company!|
