|Our mission||The mission of Power Inspires Progress' (P.I.P.) programming at Venice on Vine is to create a sense of place, provide work skills development, and work history for individuals with chronic barriers to employment. Those barriers may include: generational poverty, lack of access to a quality education, a history of addiction, and/or a history with the court systems.|
|Ways to help|
A wide variety of topics are available, including: math, grammar, business skills, computer literacy, resumes, ethics, GED prep, time management, and many more!
Trainees are encouraged to learn kitchen vocabulary and kitchen math… if you’re skilled or willing to learn with them, we’d love to hear from you!
|How you help||Connect one-on-one with adults pursuing educational, career, and life goals which aim to create long term stability in their lives.|
|About us||Venice on Vine is a pre-employment training & job placement program, for individuals with barriers to employment, that utilizes both a traditional pizzeria and a commercial catering kitchen as unique classrooms. The organization has functioned for more than 30 years within Cincinnati’s urban core, the historic Over-the-Rhine District, under the umbrella of the non-profit Power Inspires Progress.|
