Our mission

The Reds Urban Youth Academy (RUYA) is an urban baseball and softball training academy established and operated by the Reds Community Fund.
Opportunities

Reds Rookie Success League

Our volunteers will help with anything from being a character mentor to a baseball station instructor. You will get to work with groups of kids who fit the typical demographic we look for making this experience extremely impactful.

Split the Pot

You will sell tickets from the time the gates open until the beginning of the seventh inning.

Urban Youth Academy

Throughout the season we hold a number of high school baseball tournaments and need help with staffing our concession stand.

Major League Baseball’s Urban Youth Academy program aims to set the standard for baseball and softball instruction, teach and educate in Urban America, and enhance the quality of life in the surrounding communities.

The Reds Community Fund is a non-profit organization helping Greater Cincinnati’s youth through education, activities, and fun. We are dedicated to improving the lives of of youth by leveraging the tradition of the Cincinnati Reds and the game of baseball.
