Event Support

Our annual event held on Father's Day at Yeatman's Cove celebrates families and fatherhood with free food, games, music, and crafts. Individual, families, and groups of volunteers are welcome.

Individual and Group Volunteer Opportunities

Help with event support, facilitating sober living activities, garden mentoring, assisting with supply drives, and writing messages of hope to persons in recovery from substance use disorder. We welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities.

How you help Volunteers are an integral part of Talbert House's work. From providing support to our signature Fatherhood Community Celebration to helping organize supply drives and answering 281-CARE crisis hotline calls, volunteers are key to supporting many of our programs and activities.
About us Talbert House is a community-wide nonprofit network of services focusing on prevention, assessment, treatment and reintegration. We help children, adults and families overcome addiction, mental illness & involvement in the justice system.
