Ways to help

Volunteer

We often need volunteers to help move materials, set up equipment for field trips, guide students between activities, help get life jacket on, or put canoes on the boat trailer. No matter what the task, you will be part of something fun and will be thanked by excited, smiling kids.

How you help We engage volunteers for our public open paddles/wilderness field trips around the Cincinnati area.
About us The Urban Wilderness Program partners with schools and organizations to provide students of all backgrounds truly unique, hands-on experiences such as boat building, canoeing and campfire cooking. Participants learn new skills, grow as a team, and gain an appreciation of nature they can personally connect with.
