|Our mission||We serve the Over-the-Rhine community through spiritual nourishment and love, educational programs, and social/moral development to empower children and families to make sound and moral decisions, to grow spiritually and to progress educationally.|
|Ways to help|
From carpentry to writing, from sewing to budgeting we love to have our volunteers engage our students in new activities. Contact us and we can plug you in to speak to an appropriate age group from Kindergarten through High School.
High School Program
Monday through Friday 3:00-6:00pm. Our after-school program consists of four major components. We provide snack, homework help, bible lessons and enrichment activities. Volunteers will tutor students and engage in each of the programs activities. (21+)
STAR Club: Science, Technology, Arithmetic, and Reading
Saturdays 10:20-12:30. After enjoying a nutritious breakfast children work one-on-one with volunteers on homework or materials provided by Wesley Chapel Mission Center. Through this program, we are able to support and encourage the work that goes on in school.
KLASS: Keep Learning After School Stops
Monday through Thursday 2:15-5. This program students receive a snack, homework help, bible lesson and enrichment activities. Volunteers are asked to support the staff while working with their assigned age group.
|How you help||We provide after school programs for children and youth, K-12, offering love and hope through spiritual nourishment, educational programs, and social development.|
