Ways to help youth thrive |
Reach and Rise MentorBe a mentor and change two lives. The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati is dedicated to helping children and teens achieve their goals. The Y’s Reach and Rise one-to-one mentoring program serves youth between the ages of 6 and 18 to ensure that every child has an opportunity to envision and pursue a positive future, and to take an active role in strengthening his or her community. The mentors and mentees must participate in two community service projects together. Parents and/or guardians are also included in the mentoring process. |

How you help | It’s part of our mission to help connect you with opportunities to give back to your community. Volunteers help nurture the potential in youth, foster health and wellness for people of all ages and build a stronger community. When you volunteer at the Y, you take an active role in bringing about meaningful, enduring change right in your own neighborhood. And we’re all better off for it. |

About us | We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. We are a committed and diverse community that inspires people of all ages, and families in all forms, to achieve their hopes, dreams, and goals. We encourage belonging in a safe, caring, and vibrant environment. |
