Items we need now

Donate Protective Supplies

Donate your extra face masks, gloves, alcohol wipes, or rubbing alcohol. We need them for the childcare centers for the children of hospital employees and first responders. Put them in a plastic bag and leave them at the entrance of the following locations: Blue Ash, Campbell (Fort Thomas), Clermont (Batavia), Clippard (Colerain), R.C. Durr (Burlington), Gamble-Nippert (Westwood), Highland (Hillsboro), Carl H. Lindner (West End), Richard E. Lindner (Norwood), M.E. Lyons (Anderson), and Powel Crosley, Jr. (Springfield Township). Do not engage with others (social distancing). Drop the supplies off and then return home. (If you’d like, write a note of encouragement, and we’ll pass it along.) Drop Off Day at the above YMCAs on Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Ways to help youth thrive

Reach and Rise Mentor

Be a mentor and change two lives. The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati is dedicated to helping children and teens achieve their goals. The Y’s Reach and Rise one-to-one mentoring program serves youth between the ages of 6 and 18 to ensure that every child has an opportunity to envision and pursue a positive future, and to take an active role in strengthening his or her community. The mentors and mentees must participate in two community service projects together. Parents and/or guardians are also included in the mentoring process.

About us We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive.
