About this event

To celebrate the Presidential Inaugural Committee’s MLK Day of Service, we are organizing a “Most Needed Items” Drive to support Brighton Center’s Food Pantry. Brighton Center serves individuals and families in Campbell County and beyond.

We are making it easy for you to do a “contactless” drop off near you of items that Brighton Center has told us are most needed. Folks around the county have offered their front porches as collection stations from Wednesday 1/13 through Monday 1/18
for the following items:

Breakfast Items:
Cereal, Pop tarts, Granola Bars, and Peanut Butter–there is a need for breakfast items for families with children, as many children are unable to access breakfast from school during virtual instruction.

Soap: Liquid hand soap is particularly important during the pandemic. Powdered laundry detergent is also much needed

Hats and Gloves (New-not used): For men, women and children.

You can drop off your donations at any of the addresses below, using the marked boxes on the porch, from Wednesday 1/13 through Monday 1/18. We’ll take care of getting everything to Brighton Center by the end of the week!
