About this event
With more than 1000 members from a variety of organizations and agencies participating in the Senior Services Roundtable of Columbus and Franklin County (Ohio), we are encouraging our members and the public to discuss with their families, co-workers and friends and collectively to commit a few hours of their time to assist with the multiple ongoing missions of Lifecare Alliance to seniors and others during the National Day of Service, the week of January 18-24, or any time, as the need for volunteers is constant. Opportunities include delivering hot meals to Lifecare Alliance’s Meals-On-Wheels clients, delivering “Groceries-To-Go” to clients of the Columbus Cancer Clinic and their families, and several non-driving, but equally important, supporting roles at their Mound Street and Harmon Avenue offices in Columbus. See https://www.lifecarealliance.org/volunteer/ for a description of volunteer opportunities. Only a few hours are required for most volunteer roles (not entire days as listed).
