Register your team today! For those of you new to our Annual Festivities, the Buddy Walk is a short 1-mile stroll, starting and finishing on the Sawyer Point Kroger Promenade. The route takes you west through and around Yeatman’s Cove until you are back in the main area of Sawyer Point. Don’t forget that will kick off our morning with a Pre-Party out on the Yeatman’s Cove lawn at 9:00 AM. The Walk countdown is promptly at 10:00 am and will lead you to the After Party. Music, activities for all age groups, food, and beverages donated by our generous sponsors and more are all part of the celebration.

Two of my beautiful girls! Thank you for putting Matilda and Katherine on your bill boards! I love it! 😍

Love it!

Our dear friend and loyal DSAGC volunteer, Mary Ann Wainscott, suddenly passed away Monday afternoon. If you’ve picked up Buddy Walk t-shirts within the past seven years, you’ve met Mary Ann and were greeted by her warm smile. Every year, she would dedicate an entire week to manage Buddy Walk T-Shirt distribution. She even took vacation from work to do so. We nick-named her our “T-Shirt Queen”. She did it all for her granddaughter, Ella. Mary Ann was one-of-a-kind and irreplaceable. We miss her so much, but will continue to celebrate her life alongside her family and friends…just as she would want.

Oh my goodness, how sad! I will always remember her kindness to me everytime I would come to get shirts. Especially the first time when I had no clue what I was doing. Prayers for her family and friends ❤

🙏

This has been a devastating loss. I miss my friend. 😔

Prayers for the family

Mary Ann was always very kind to me. My heart breaks for her family and for my DSAGC colleagues who loved her.

I did have a few chances to volunteer with Mary Ann. She was so sweet. Thinking of her family during this time. Sending love

What a gift she was to all

So sorry for this loss! Mary Ann was always wonderful to talk to when it was t-shirt pick up time. She was very friendly.

My heart! Xoxoxo

Oh no, such a very sweet woman. A tremendous loss to our community.

I met her last year when I picked up my shirt. This year in addition to walking for my niece, I will walk for her too!!

I didn't know her on a person level, but every time I went to get our teams shirts, she welcomed us with a smile and we would cat for a few minutes. She will be missed. Prayers for the family.

Prayers for all her family 🙏🏻 She and Pamela were very close 😢
