Board Member

Our board Our Board is comprised of 14-16 diverse individuals. We seek a Board that represents our entire county in terms of age, gender, race, residence location, workplace and skill set. The purpose of our Board is two-fold - obviously the Board has an obligation to oversee the finances and the work of the agency. They also are our ambassadors throughout the community in terms of raising funds and giving us access to groups of potential mentors that we can recruit. We have a 3 year Strategic Plan and work hard to achieve our goals.
Position We are seeking to expand our Board by 2-3 new members.  We are an extremely mission driven organization whose sole purpose is to provide mentors to youth so that they grow into their full potential.   We are especially interested in individuals who are collaborative, willing to be fully engaged and who truly want to assist in providing opportunities for BBBS to recruit volunteer mentors and/or raise funds for the agency.  We prefer individuals who either live or work in Butler County.
