UPDATE 5/28/2020: Anyone interested in viewing our animals that are available for adoption/foster can do so without an appointment. Visitors are asked to maintain social distancing while in our building, and may be asked to wait outside should our lobby become too full. THE BELOW LISTING IS IN REAL TIME, SO CHECK OFTEN FOR NEW ANIMALS THAT ARE ADDED AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE.All of these animals are eligible for Foster or Adoption. There is no appointment needed to view animals that are housed at the shelter. We do not hold animals, so if you’re interested in adopting then you will need to visit the shelter in person and submit an application. If the animal’s location says “Foster Home”, then that animal is already placed in a foster home, but is eligible for adoption and a meet and greet will be scheduled with the foster family if your application is approved. You can fill out our Adoption Application and email to AnimalServices@butlercountyohio.org if you’re interested in meeting with a foster animal. Applications are kept on file for at least 30 days. Are you 55 years or older and live in or around Cincinnati, Ohio? We need your help.
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is part of AmeriCorps. We are the largest network of Volunteers 55 years and older in the nation. RSVP matches Volunteers with organizations where your time, interest, talents, knowledge and experience is most effectively utilized to meet the importance needs in our community. We have current opportunities in these areas:
- Nutrition & Food Support
- Companionship
- Adult Education/Tutoring
- Other Community Priorities
- Deliver approximately 12 presentations annually using prepared Alzheimer's Association evidence based consumer education programs on a variety if care and support topics
- Collaborate with local association staff to expand programs by recurring community partners, scheduling presentations, delivering the programs and managing needed materials
- Serve as presenter for chapter, schedule education programs and conferences
- Connect indiviuals with additional services and volunteer opportunities

GET STARTED VOLUNTEERING FOR CPC!
Cincinnati Pit Crew (CPC) invites individuals with a commitment to both responsible pet ownership and to the local community to join our organization as a volunteer. There are volunteer opportunities available for individuals of all ages covering a variety of diverse activities and outreach. Some of our volunteer teams include: 1. Dog Transport Team 2. Community Education and Outreach Team 3. Home Visit Team 4. Events Team 5. Fundraising Team Event volunteers assist with the set up and take down of event equipment. During events, CPC volunteers educate the general public about “pit bull” dogs and about the work our organization does both within the rescue community as well as the Greater Cincinnati community at large. To become a volunteer with CPC, please complete the CPC Volunteer Registration Form.
